Final: Part 1

1.          What I like about this class is learning about a lot of medical careers and the projects that we do.

2.          One thing I didn’t like about this class is not getting much free time. The other thing is that we stopped typing tutor.

3.          We should continue with typing tutor and put more free time after the subject is over.

4.          I feel that I could have done better but still did good in this class.

5.          Lately I haven’t been reading it but I will start again during summer.

6.          I’ve been a ctr person for a long time but still need improvement.

7.          I will always remember that ctr song that is stuck in my headJ. I will also remember Mr. Haymore.

1.)                      Some of the services for this program are Parent Advisory Committee, ESC Parent Engagement, Parent and Community Resources, and Parent Bill Of Rights.

2.)                   These services help plan for parent’s plans in the future to help their children in school and academics.

3.)                   I would use parent and community resources so my parents can get resources on teaching me and tutoring me.

(1.)                  Some services are Parent Advisory Committee, Community Advisory Committee, District English Learner Advisory Committee and Common Core State Standards Parent Resources.

(2.)               These services can help me if I needed to learn English. They can also help me when by parents attending to advisory committees and going to common core state standards resources to find ways to teach their child.

(3.)               I would use the common core state standards parent resources because this can train me by using my parents to teach me about common core.

          A military physiatrist specializes in taking care of soldiers that are dealing with emotional and mental issues. They also prevent diseases passing through other soldiers.

          A military physiatrist is a very important job for treating soldiers with their issues. This career is good for people who want to help soldiers with fears and mental problems.

The act of doing the Right Thing

     During a baseball game between Western Oregon and Central Washington, a player named Sara was up next to bat. She was ready to just hit the baseball on the side of the bases but instead, made a homerun. Everyone was shocked since it was her first time hitting a homerun. When she ran to first base, her knee twisted and she was unable to run to base. The couch of the team, Pam Knox, asked the umpire if they can help her get up. He said that it would make the homerun an out. Then these two girls from the other team, Mallory and Liz asked if they can carry her to all the bases. Surprisingly, he said yes. Then Mallory and Liz carried Sara to all for bases and made the homerun. This touched many people’s hearts because of the actions of Mallory and Liz doing the right thing.

Medical Illustrator

Duties and Responsibilities:

          Medical Illustrators duties are people who draw, sketch, or animate a scenario in which how a procedure might happen. They also animate how the surgery or treatments will happen through statistics and measurements.

Salary:

          Annual salary is $62,000

Education:

          Usually must have the natural skills to animate and draw certain events and scenarios. You must have painting and drawing techniques, patience, accuracy/ stability, and imaginative skills.

Reflection:

          I love drawing so seems like a good career. I recommend to those who like drawing and want to make some money to try out this job if you like.

Education:

          You must have a high school diploma, and at least a bachelor’s degree. Higher degrees mean higher the salary.

Duties and Responsibilities:

          In this career, they help patients relax and enjoy themselves. The patients are usually injured maybe by an accident or fight. Sometimes it’s for the elderly. What they do is transporting patients to doctors, make beds, do laundry, give patients medicine and etc.

Salary:

          $22,000 annual wage

Education:

          You must at least have a high school diploma to train and work as one of the aids.

           A good career but pay is not worth the work. The salary should be higher and better.

(1) April Fool’s day is on April the first. (2) The purpose for this holiday was to play pranks or hoaxes on other people for fun. (3) There are many theories to April fool’s day like this one. In 1564 CE France reformed its calendar, they kept on moving up the calendar by a whole month and went to April 1^st. (4) April fool’s day can be fun and good or bad and wild. Many people take it way too far and start to get wild. Most of the time is just for fun and with friends. (5)    

        Health Sciences Librarian

Duties and Responsibilities:

          Health librarians are people who help physicians and people learn more with books and files. They also teach medical students and assign them books to read. They are practically teachers.

Salary:

          $66,622 annual wage.

Education:

          To become a health science librarian, you must get an undergraduate degree and after get a master’s degree in library science. If you want higher positions for this career, then get higher degrees.

     Billy Graham was an evangelist that traveled all over the globe since in 1949. He has been alive for 96 years and he is still alive today. Today he has retired but still evangelized many people. His son and his daughter followed his footsteps and became evangelists too. The whole family is made up of evangelist.

     Billy Graham started evangelizing in 1949, as guest on Stuart Hamblen's radio show. That’s when he started the journey. He started doing world broadcasts. He has been on a long journey in evangelism and retired in 2005.  

           Times Like Now…

      When it is times like now, I need to do something quick! Now I am angry at myself. I know I need to do better in school and I am, but my parents still yell and get me in trouble even if is still do my homework. Now it’s just annoying and I understand that they are trying to help but come on, I’m already changing and doing my best. I still am grounded from almost everything besides living, sleeping, and eating. Well this will be for a short time… I hope and later on I’ll get to do more things instead of being grounded over grades.

1.        St. Patrick was one of the most popular saints in Ireland. He converted many people in his life time and helped many others.

2.      It is a feast for Roman Catholics that celebrate St. Patrick.

3.     They celebrate it on March 17 because that was the day that St. Patrick died in.

4.      It is the color green because the color green has many connections with Ireland like with its flag and clovers.

5.     Shamrocks in St. Patrick’s day because it represents the trinity of the Father, the son, and the spirit,        

      

     Oliviet Middle School Michigan

       At Oliviet Middle School in Michigan, a football team has made a decision on helping one of their team mates. Their team mate had special needs but always fit in with the team. Keith was the teammate who hasn’t scored a touchdown. In a game, the team decided to help Keith get a touchdown. Eventually they succeeded and mad Keith happy and his first touchdown. All of the players were touched by this event and were happy.

          A job of an Oncologist is to treat cancer patients in various ways such as chemotherapy and radiation. They also study cancer to see how to proceed with it and how to treat it.

          Approximately 217,000 dollars a year.  

Education:

          You must have 15 year of advance education and training to do this at undergraduate schools, medical schools, and training programs.

          A very important job when it comes to treating cancer and studying but I don’t want to become this, I’m focusing on something else.

                        Heliotherapy

Duties and Responsibilities:

   .       In this medical treatment, doctors expose your body to sunlight in many ways to cure diseases. It was a therapy method for a long time and is still used today

Salary:

          $115,000 annual wages
